Who can join the “Live Like Local” experience?
Anyone curious about Balinese culture and open to sharing daily life with a local family is welcome! Solo travelers, couples, and even families can participate (it needs to be confirm with the host first).
Do I need to speak Indonesian or Balinese?
No! Your hosts are used to welcoming travelers. Basic English is spoken, and there’s always a way to communicate and learn together.
Where will I stay?
You’ll stay with a Balinese family in a rural village house. Accommodations are simple but clean, with basic comforts and lots of warmth.
Should I bring a gift for the host family?
It’s not required, but bringing a small gift is a lovely gesture. It helps create a connection and leaves a memorable impression with your hosts. Simple things from your home country—like local snacks, small crafts, or souvenirs—are always appreciated!
